Its signature brass nailheads accent rich leather finished at a 150-year-old tannery known for its Old World artisanry. ^ Brass nailheads in two sizes are precisely tacked by hand, one at a time, tracing the rounded arms, square tight back and base with vintage detail. Metropole is a chair of fine leisure, benchmade with a comfortable seat cushion, eight-way hand-tied springs that support your every move and a triple-paneled back angled for relaxation in the living room or study. Each leather chair is truly one of a kind due to an innovative tannage technique that highlights the leather's natural markings and wrinkles, tones and rich colors.
