Overview
We worked with Alvino Bagni's descendants to reproduce some of his most iconic designs from the 1960s and '70s. Born in Lastra a Signa, Italy, in 1919, Bagni took an interest in ceramics from a young age, achieving his most significant period of work from the 1950s1970s. Today, his granddaughter continues the family legacy through the ceramic atelier she started in 1993. The Nuovo Vase is painted by hand in Florence, Italy, and finished with a volcanic reactive glaze, creating a beautiful and unique texture along the bottom.
